Roof repair costs in Kent: what you should actually pay in 2026

Nobody plans to learn about roofing prices. A tile appears on the lawn or a stain spreads across a ceiling, and suddenly you need to know what a fair price looks like before the first quote arrives. Here are the real ranges for Kent in 2026, and the warning signs that a quote deserves a second opinion.

The going rates in Kent

These are the ranges we work to across the Tonbridge and Sevenoaks area, assuming a typical 3-bed semi with reasonable access. They line up with what national trade cost guides publish, adjusted for South East labour rates.

• Replacing slipped or broken tiles (up to 10): £150 to £450. Matching clay peg tiles on older cottages sits at the top of the range because reclaimed tiles cost real money.
